• Hat or cap — for the sunnier stretches of the walk

• Light rain jacket (green season, June–November) — brief tropical showers pass quickly and are part of the island's charm

• A small amount of cash — for souvenirs, fresh spices, and local treats at the garden

• Insect repellent — optional, but welcome in a lush tropical garden

• At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time
